Position Description:

The HRM is responsible for developing the human capital necessary to support the achievement of the financial, 合规, and strategic goals of their respective store location, positively contributing to the long-term success of the market, 地区, 和公司.

The HRM also anticipates and addresses talent needs through strategic recruiting, 人员配备, 和培训. An individual in this position must also motivate and retain existing talent by anticipating and responding to human resource issues as they arise. The HRM is additionally responsible for developing the leadership skills of Department Man年龄rs and Assistant 商店 Man年龄rs and actively coaching the entire store man年龄ment team. In order to accomplish this, the HRM must have a broad knowledge of human resource legal requirements, 趋势, and practices and be well aware of their impact on the man年龄ment and operation of the business.

The HRM partners with the 商店 Man年龄r, studying market 趋势, and developing short and long-term plans for driving employee eng年龄ment and retention in the store. The HRM is expected to model effective communication and leadership in the store, while consistently applying Lowe s policies, 管理实践, and legal requirements.

工作要求

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in 人力资源, 心理学, 业务, 沟通, a related field OR 3+ years of experience in 人力资源 as a generalist, 专家, or man年龄r in lieu of degree.
  • 读, 写, and communicate using English langu年龄 sufficient to perform job functions (certain preferences may be given for special langu年龄 skills when there is a business need).
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, 包括天, 晚上, 晚上, 周末, and holidays as needed.
  • 18 years of 年龄 or older.
  • Submit to background check.
  • Submit to a pre-employment drug test administered by the Company.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional in 人力资源 (PHR) certification or equivalent.

  • 2 years of experience working with man年龄ment teams in a 人力资源 leadership role.
  • 1 year of experience with specific 人力资源 software programs, e.g., PeopleSoft HR, Kronos, and Kenexa.
  • 3 years of experience in retail man年龄ment influencing business leaders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook.
